Dorris Mae Campbell

Dorris Mae Campbell, age 80, of Pinckneyville, passed away at her home Thursday, February 5, 2004.
Dorris was born in East St. Louis on December 22, 1923, a daughter of Roy and Ruby (Hanson) Reidelberger.  She married C. Dean Campbell on February 6, 1944 in Pinckneyville and he survives.
Dorris was a homemaker and was employed for many years at Stotlar Drugs in Pinckneyville.  She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Pinckneyville, Tri-Sigma Sorority and a quilting club in Percy.  Dorris enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.
Dorris is survived by her husband; three sons, Joe Campbell and wife Becky of Albers, Jim Campbell and wife Lindell of Pinckneyville and John Campbell and wife Londa, also of Pinckneyville; eight  grandchildren, Erinn, Ben, Sam, Joey, Jamie, Jeff, Zach and Olivia and two great-grandchildren, Kannon and Alyssa.  She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Jayne.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 9 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Pinckneyville at 11 a.m. with Reverend Tom Hobson officiating.  Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Sunday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 8 until 9:30 a.m. then at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
